OLDER ADULT MINISTRIES
High Street UMC is known as an advocate for the elderly in our community. Each year, there are approximately 1,000 folks whose lives are enriched, assisted, enlivened, and touched by these varied ministries and programs. The outreach programs of Thursday Luncheon, Update Learning, SHIP, and Elder-Law counseling involve men and women from several counties. Members who are “retirement” age are active in nearly every ministry of the church, and those who are unable to be active are loved and supported through caring ministries. For information about any of these ministries and programs, contact Sandra Hardcastle.
